("Cafe con leche", for your (caffeinated!) return to Miami... to *wash down* all these bribes of food? LOL)

Florida has been VERY, very well-served by your music - with both /ASIA\ *AND* UK - live in the last 6 months, John.

I am grateful, its been a GREAT year of fan highlights for me - so I graciously accept that North America can wait a year for your return here. European fans, and certainly your neighbour British / UK fans, need some "John Wetton live" love now.

"Longing makes the heart grow fonder"... so I'll fondly look forward to donning my beloved black longsleeve "X X X" /ASIA\ shirt for shows in 2014.

No sense in me bribing you to come back to NY, since I've been fortunate enough to see you many times in the past few years. I have to take a deep breath and share.

Coffee is on me if you have any layovers at JFK.

How about warm hearts and big smiles of anxiously awaiting fans for your return in 2014?
  That's a good bribe.

I promise not to serve you poutine if you come to the Land of the Beaver (and the Bieber, but we don't talk about that).

"Land of the Beaver"?  That sounds like one of those pay-per-view hotel movies.

When encountering pay-per-view beavers in hotel rooms, it's best to use a dam.

OK. Where is this land and I want to go there.

FYI, Heat of the Moment played nearly in it's entirety at Durham Bulls game this past week during a pitching change. It was awesome!!!!!!!

DarkLady, that's a "deep thought".

I feel sorry, somewhat, for the poor Canadian mammal...

John, as I was listening to The Great Deceiver on the drive home, my ill-regulated mind drifted from "Cat Food" (the song) to "Cat Fud" (the Gary Larson comic). Now I am wondering: Which (if any) is your favourite Far Side cartoon?

Canuck Beavers? I'll have you know some of the most famous Beavers are grade A, US prime. In fact, I prefer American beavers to Canadian beavers and I spent a summer in Edmonton, nuff said.

They are, by definition, the most diligent of creatures...resourceful and tireless in their work. They can be a tad destructive if left to their own devices but wonderful nonetheless.

Lest we forget Jerry Mathers, Buc-ee and even Oscar Wilde loved wearing his beaver coat now and again. I am reminded that we call them the North American Beaver which I am perfectly fine with. It has been awhile since I've seen a Eurasian beaver and I've even heard of beavers as far south as Chile and Argentina and they must be hot...with all that fur. If the Valkryie project changes direction, pass this along to Roger Dean. Perhaps an Arcadian Beaver?

JK, the Arcadian Beaver seems a large departure from Norse mythology. Perhaps a Völva* would be more appropriate.

Good... LORD.

JK - IIIIIIIIIIIII I don't even know WHERE to begin.

"...and they must be hot - with all that fur."

LOL LOL LOL What the hell did they EXPOSE you to in Edmonton? This poor animal has suddenly become the emblem for new Roger Dean shirts too, Beo? And as for you and your Norse mythology, Dark Lady, well - its enough to turn Thor from PG to a quick *R*... LOL.

(JK - as you scroll back over this thread, sir - is it ANY WONDER that John Wetton found the muso direct him towards "XXX" as a theme for his last album...?)

"Beaver."

LOL!!
