935 miles, 15.5 hours. By the looks of it at least 2 ferry crossings.

None. Not out of choice--it's a quasi-military schedule---you go down about an hour before  you play, the band that's playing while your stage is prepared is a 1/2 mile away on the other stage. Afterwards, I had to interviews and a photo shoot, and went straight back to hotel. Had a photo/chat with Nigel from Saxon, saw Mandy Meyer at hotel, met Rush's string section.

Any remote chance you might hop over the pond to sing with Annie Haslam at the YEStival? That would make my decision about buying a ticket

Really?  John, didn't you say that there were no coincidences (since I had just brought this up...?)

Would they play for 1/2 off for Asia, LOL...

How's Mandy doing these days John?  Was he there performing with Unisonic?

The bastard looks exactly the same. He's with Krokus.
No, I will not be at Yesfest, I will be in Germany---it's my boy's b'day.

That makes me smile. And it makes my wallet happy, too! Extra cash to save up for when ASIA returns to the States next year.

I believe Dylan will be hitting the big 15 this year if my memory is correct. Looks like he'll be needing a set of wheels in another year. That's if the age limit is the same as ours. Are you ready for a little test drive??

John, perhaps you could keep it in the family, and get Dylan to drive the tour juggernaut? A job with Stage Truck (or whoever carries your gear) beckons. Good job CP ditched his revolving steel kit...

Ah, the revolting steel kit. Dylan can have a scooter, like I did.
