There's a bar here called 'laisser les bon temps roule'. I'm not sure if that's grammatically correct. However,I'll be hitting a surf 'n'turf with the Carlos dude before the movie, Sarah Marshall, then I'll be retiring early for some 'rocks massage', as advertised  in the lobby.Sound like fun? Only if you get your tummy tickled.

John,

Do let me know if you see anyone walking around there that looks like me. Not sure if you were aware, but the "Cajuns" from down south are direct descendants of the "Acadians" - Canadian east coast French, of whom I am descended. When the English tried (and failed) to expel all of the French from the Maritime provinces (Nova Scotia, PEI and New Brunswick areas), my ancestors went into the woods while many others were sent back to France or departed for what is now the southern states. I guess the locals couldn't wrap their heads around the correct pronunciation of "Acadian", hence "Cajun" was born.

So endeth todays history lesson.

I'll dance with Pete, Goddess!  I'm sure we are going to have a more than wonderful time.  I'll make sure Pete gives you a call...how about during the show?

Where I'm from they refer to "warm stone massage."

Firstly, dinner was most enjoyable last night, but despite the fact that it was enjoyable to spend an evening at the cinema with 'the other half ' (of the rhythm section,I mean),the Sarah Marshall movie was disappointing, until the very end when, for me,it suddenly burst into life. I have a problem with Russell Brand, and although he did a fairly adequate job as the English debauched rock star,I don't find him in any way simpatico.Dave, thanks for the historical explanation, but, despite the proliferation of French surnames, there's not one person I've seen so far that is vaguely the same size, shape or color as your badd sel'.
