Hi ALL!   I wanted to ask this for a while, but keep forgetting.   I know Steve's Homebrew albums are all demos of stuff he has worked on for ages, YES, SOLO, A.B.W.H.; ASIA!   Never bought the albums, but I figured someone here might have.  SO I wanted to ask about the Asia Demos on his albums, has anyone heard them?   Are they good?  (should they have been on a ASIA LP??)   I am guessing they are all instrumental and no vocals are on them, right?

If anyone can confirm or elaborate, I would greatly appreciate it (and maybe buy them!?!?!?)

  THANK YOU ALL!!  [smile]

           Cheers!!

Hello Jorge,

The only one I can recall is Barren Land which is Asia's Lying to Yourself.   That is on Homebrew 1.

It has been awhile but you will recognize the music and arrangement immediately but Steve took it in a different direction.

there were other tracks that were later included on the Phoenix album.
Steves a good background singer in all but lead no way.

Regrettably you are spot on.  There is a YouTube video of Bruford and Howe on Regis and Cathy Lee.  Steve sings Roundabout.  It was painful.

Yikes. Those are things that should never be said in the same sentence....
Kathie Lee Gifford, Regis Philbin, Bill Bruford and Steve Howe. Sounds like a bad lounge act in the Branson Quality Inn.

Isn't there some way to block and revoke the masked uploader from this site? It looks like we had some decent traffic coming back to the site and then this guy starts up again and everything stops cold.

I think it's as easy as deleting the user. It posts always under the same name.

Thanks Goose!  I actually remember that first volume!  I should have specified but I have seen that his Volume 4 & 5 HomeBrew lps are FULL of OMEGA and XXX demos, so that's why I figured all the "Howe-faithful", [tongue]   would have those sets in their collections.   I guess I am gonna have to "bite the bullet" and give the "Crypt-keeper" my hard earned CO$H!!!  [frown]

thanks Everyone!!
