To all...Asia is participating in a special CD for SERENITY HOUSE, a hospice to be built in Doylestown, PA (north of Philadelphia).  Asia contributed an unreleased unplugged version of "Don't Cry" from the Sirius Satellite radio performance in August of 2006. This is a limited release and all proceeds will be donated to Serenity House.

Philly was one, if not the first major market to wholly embrace Asia back in the day when they came on the scene. So nice to see they are giving back. To me, a guy who lost his father and two in-laws to cancer, it could not be a better charity.

Kudos to all on this one!

Hospice is one of the things that inspired me to get my Masters in end-of-life care.  Not for the faint of heart, but certainly one of the most rewarding things in the world to support.  After all, what good is living well if you can't die well?  Hospice shows you how to do that.  Kudos and megadoses of respect to Asia for supporting this honorable cause.

Once again, I'm a proud fan of Asia and JW.  Wonderful decision. Although I've never been in hospice (for I am, admittedly, very faint of heart), I've spent weeks in Children's Hospitals and the magnificent place that is St. Judes in Memphis. One sees miracles in these places, even in the sadness. The people that make these organizations possible should be supported in every way, and a musical gift to the cause seems perfect...and that acoustic version of "Don't Cry".....lovely choice.
