I just had to listen to an iCon. I put iCon 3 on to "Spread your Wings" over and over. Love it, but the thing that I question is if "they" broke up, why the beautiful goodbye wish for the other. Quite generous!!!! When I was reading who were the additional musicians, Mr. Dylan Wetton was a co-writer on "Far Away". Interesting. Has he co-wrote other songs, John?

Has he co-written other songs? No, I had high hopes, but since then, not a twinkle.

Peggy ~ you mean the first iCon, not iCon 3, right?    I haven't played that cd in a while so I'm going to take it with me to my car tomorrow. Love it too!

Evelyn, leave it up to me to mess up.    Yes, you are right.  And seeing the news on the guest book's first page of John releasing a collection of his solo work, think about all the options we will have to continue experiencing...I'm gonna run that sentence on too long.    Just what a music love fest!!!

Sometimes, just occasionally, when two people are writing a song, you will get two peoples' amalgamated experience. Two sides of a coin.

John, is this code for 'we might get some other takes, which others liked more than those that went out originally...?' Bodes well, IMHO.

I just watched Urban Psalm for the first time in about a year. Incredible version of Starless as has been noted here many times, but I'm still blown away by John's performance on Raven. The subject matter may not quite be appropriate for a church , but the song is heavenly.

Everytime I listen to PRESTONPANS, the instrumental from Chasing The Deer, I fly in another dimension... I treat the original cd like a treasure!

I spent some quality time with my "Best of ICON" playlist last night on a flight home from New York.  "My Life Is In Your Hands" takes on new meaning when you're 30,000 feet above ground.  The introduction itself is haunting while looking out an airplane window.

There in Your Bed as it's not on my Russian copy of the first album (it's official).  I will get the EP in future.

John, will there be a duet on iCon Zero? I'm very excited about a new iCon release?
