Well if you guys are performing with an orchestra, ASTRA Baby ASTRA !!!
And it would be cool to hear the parts that were edited out of the songs cause Geffen Records thought it was too much for them to handle or whatever that story was.

Maybe Roger Dean could do an updated painting of AZA for the CD-DVD cover.

By the way heard a really cool A word. AZTECA.

Yes, Mia, it's true. We play up to Copenhagen, then go home to continue with the record.
We are very disappointed (I had arranged to see my God-daughter in Oslo),but it is the promoter's decision. Very sorry,I hate to cancel, it leaves a bad feeling all round.

I changed my apartment…..had temporarily no internet access…..so my review from Bochum 08/30 is a little late…..sorry for that….

I got my place in front row; center position; where else?!?! One minute before the concert started it was announced through the venue-speakers that "....after the show the band will stay in the cocktail-lounge. You will get two autographs per person and please hurry up when taking pictures".
Wow; a "meet and greet" for all; nice bonus.

The gig itself was how we all expect and love them. Normally there is nothing more to say. OK......some more words:
They played all the classic songs (Days like these; Go; Wildest dreams; Sole survi-vor; Open your eyes; Heat of the Moment....and more.....) and only two songs from the newer albums (Face on the bridge; Extraordinary live).

It was the first time I saw Sam on stage. He was very active.....had fun.....adrenalin ;-) During Carls solo he did not leave the stage (like the others).....he stood at the side and watched Carl drumming.......with wide open eyes....smiling.....wiping.... Apropos solo....there was no solo from Geoff (wearing silver colored "video-killed...........revival AllStars ;-) and the gig was a little short in my opinion (aprox. 75-80 min).

I caught again John Plectron :-)
Unfortunately there was only little time to speak at the meet and greet.....and there were no pics allowed/possible.

John....I could not manage to get to you. I was told that it will happen after the show.....but after the show they said that there will only be a chance at the official meet and greet. I did not see any familiar faces; did you change the whole team/staff?
Anyway.....I could introduce to you my Vienna-import ;-) and maybe there will be a next chance........

I have seen a lot of ASIA concerts; all from front row......but the sound there is very poor. Each time I think to watch the next from the middle of the venue. Do you know that conflict?

Due to circumstances out of my control I regret....I cannot be in Darmstadt.

Have fun Melanie !!

CU all again next time !!!

thanks Joeschi, good to meet your Vienna import!

Except for Martin and Val,there are some new faces with us on the road. My tech, Richard ---and the FOH sound man are Steve Hackett's men! Elaine,Dave and lighting man,Alec, are all new-ish. A new addition also is 'Old' Nick, the bus driver, who has some serious inkage, including a '13' on his neck. I haven't checked the scalp for 666, but I'm confident.

If I was on stage I wouldn't leave stage if Geoff would do a keyboard solo nobody's ever heard.
He tends to do what he calls messing around on his keys during sound checks, I call them experimental Solos.
I wish bands could be crazy like in the 70s, King Crimson is a great example of guys playing crazy experimental songs live.

I'd also like to hear John do bass solos maybe along with a few drum beats, think I still have that bass solo you did with UK on one the tours, Danger Money ?

It was amazing!!!
