Howdy all,

I'm not sure how John does it, but his vocals are stronger than ever and both that, and his bass playing last night blew us all away!

I will leave it up to the more eloquent among us, who were there in New Jersey, a mere twenty-four hours ago to write of our experience (at least till I have more time to gather my thoughts), but for those of you who here who are on Facebook I have posted a public photo album of sixty-four of the nearly seven hundred photos I took there last night.

Feel free to view them, add me as a friend, and help keep one of the greatest bands currently in existence in the hearts and minds of like-minded individuals like us.

Peace,

Jeff

Thanks Jeff. They were on fire last night! Just an amazing show! They were so tight it wasn't even funny! Great photos! You have a gift!

How has the turnout been at the shows?  Hopefully they're playing to full houses.

Excellent photos.
I am no expert, but what are the best settings for a camera in a concert hall.

Howdy all,

Thanks for the compliments on the photos.

As far as your question goes, viddym, those photos were shot from the orchestra section, 6th row center with a Nikon D3100 using 55-200mm lens. The camera was set at auto and I did not use the flash. I also shot them at the highest resolution possible, using the fine setting as well.

I also shot roughly 700 photos and posted around 60 of, what to my estimation, were the best of them.

What type of gear do you use?

Peace,

Jeff

PS I wonder what John thinks of them; provided he uses Facebook that is. :-)

I just have a point and shoot camera. An Olympus SZ 16. I will hopefully be able to try it out next month.
