The hardworking postman delivered it at 9 pm last night. I listened to all tracks in order in honor of all people involved including the postman. Then the time of the day comes! What a marvelous rendition with such diverse vocal! After a few repeats I collapsed. Listening to it again.

I just got the final from Billy via snail mail. I had to wait because the file is too big to send via email. It's definitely put a smile on my face this morning. Nice one, Bill.

I am still waiting to get my copy of the CD. A fusion of my two favourite bands ever.

Postman and delivery...my copy took only 5 days to be in my hands in the heart of the USA.   To Amazon UK, standard delivery, too.  It must have leaped that pond in seconds!!!   Growl happy here/hear, too, John.

My copy of the Queen tribute CD eventually arrived. I have not played any of the other tracks but have played JW's several times. Before listening to it I was excited about it but also unsure if it would 'work'. Like many film remakes, cover version of classic songs often disappoint BUT I really enjoyed it and thought that John's vocals were exceptional in the 'heavier' sections of the song.

So there's the one in the link in the first post on this thread:  'Top Musicians Play Queen', on amazon.co.uk ... then there's 'A Tribute to Queen: We Will Rock You (Import)', Various Artists, on amazon.com (US) when I searched on 'A Tribute to Queen: We Will Rock You'.  Problem is, the artists aren't listed!  So beats me if it's the same disk.  Labels are different, covers are different.  Hate to pay UK shipping, especially since I have amazon prime.  Any insight into this?

Never mind -- it was much cheaper to order it from amazon.co.uk!  Less than $12 after the currency conversion, including shipping, vs. $19 from amazon.com, even with free shipping from Amazon Prime.  Go figure.

"Top Musicians Play..."  Amazon UK.  April, you do the math.  No don't. Buying in British Sterling makes it look like it is a great deal.   No what?  It is.  Only your credit card will know.

Edit:  Ooops, 2 minutes faster.  And Amazon UK is faster.   Go figure on that one, too.

amazon.co.uk has a currency converter, gives you the USD amount right there.  Came out to $11.64, vs. $18.98 on amazon.com.  No-brainer.

"No-brainer" ~ Missed that.  Heat Index currently is to blame.
