Ya know,I logged on with a few things in mind, was prepared to post, probably something involving MK,Paulie or Dave McGrath, read my PMs,then totally forgot what I wanted to say.
That's probably a good thing, especially for the aforementioned trio.
Just recalled one item. This morning I pulled into a gas station.
They had a sign,"Holiday Trees."
I filled my tank and told the owner that I would be back in a week or so when they get some Christmas trees in.

Boz,

It's always a good idea to place the flammable items (dry x-mass trees) near the gas.  Do they have matches there too?

Thanks Aime,

I was about to get a pardon and they you arrived

Usually when I open my mouth, I know there will be consequences.

I just brace myself

There ya go, DMcG,  I know I feel better.

We have really unique gas stations.

An attendant, usually wearing a turban, pumps our gas.
No self service in Jersey.
The stations sell floral arrangements on Easter and Mother's Day,wreaths on Memorial Day and flags on July 4th.

You know, Amie, there is a famous Latin quote to deal with rabble rousers like Dave... "Antiquis temporibus, nati tibi similes in rupibus ventosissimis exponebantur ad necem" (In the good old days, children like you were left to perish on windswept crags.)  Now, this does not involve the lobbing of fire-breathing mythical creatures, but it is a definitive solution for the trouble-maker.  Of course, there are also some pundits who support the use of farm animal projectiles, launched at high rates of speed.  I like the pasta idea, me-self.  Tasty and effective.

Oh that's right.

I hate that, I always pump my own gas.  Does Mr. turbine yank the nozzle out spilling gas all over your cahhhh?

A guy with a turbin at a gas station is not so unusual near me.

Do they have ak-47's there?

Ammo?

Now ladies be nice I'm getting older and the beatings are starting to get to me.
