Mise en place (IPA pronunciation: [miz eñ 'plass]), literally translated from French, means "setting in place." Culinary Institute of America describes the term as "Everything in place". When cooking, the term is used to describe preparation done before starting the actual cooking process. Included but not limited to flatware, cookware and sauces.

One might call it foreplay for chefs...

Good luck, Sir Edward, and noble steed Mr. Ed... and I hope Johan is in agreement about Camelot! Give my regards to the lady who lives there... she and I share a sobriquet.

Bon journey and I hope your guests are illuminating...

I can't believe this dumb thread is still going on.
Just because something is a double entendre doesn't guarantee that it's funny.

Posting in it does seem to be a way of perpetuating it.

It would certainly be interesting to know just how many men took a gander at this "dumb thread" and found the double entendre's the least bit entertaining.
