Looking forward to Chicago tonight.I'll probably drop 'VOA' tonight,as last night's HOB was a less-than friendly environment for the song.Sunday nite in Chicago might be less of a bun fight than Cleveland on a Saturday, but it's not a song to play in the midst of a hen party at the Last Chance. Some of the crowd last night were lovely,of course, and it was good to see some old friends and faces. Thanks for the flowers at the end, Melanie. I noticed the woman on the front row before Steve had a wristband that said 'I heart geeks'. I wonder what that meant?I'll see interested parties tonight.

Sorry to hear you're dropping VOA!  I was looking forward to hearing that acoustic.  Remember last year when your roadie scratched Without You just before showtime?  Please keep VOA and Without You!

Aww...Johan, please keep VOA.  I've been dying to hear it.  Special request from a Goddess???  Does that count??

Umm there better be a nice crowd at my Dallas & Vegas shows, cause I wanna hear evry song thats on the playlist plus maybe ones from the new album that have not been played yet.

I really love this new album,It's hard to pick which is my favorite, but I guess if I had to hear them live I pick these ones for now.

Never Again
Nothing's Forever
Heroine
Sleeping Giant/No Way Back/Reprise
Wish I'd Known All Along
An Extraordinary Life

By the way Johan I Love the bass effect on No Way Back, thats Fuking AWSOME!!!!!!!!

I listened blissfully to Without You. I hope you do get to hear VOA. This was exquisitely beautiful on Tuesday, and I hope the emotion it generated in the audience was shared by those watching the webcast. You could have heard a pin drop. I can see why hen parties would be distracting.

Knowing the backstory to this from numerous places, at one point during the song I was transported back to my youth, in our room, just waiting and hoping for an Asia song to come on the radio, so I could hear Johan's voice.

The legacy from that momentous occasion memorialized in VOA continues in us - judging by what we have shared here, so many of us have had a moment (or many) of powerful connection with John's work. It may have caused us to examine ourselves, challenged us to grow, brought comfort or joy, and certainly inspired others to follow their hearts into a dream of making music.

With luck and hard work, it is hoped that each of us can use our gifts to give a helping hand to or inspire someone else. We're all in it together on this planet. Thanks, John, for sharing your journey with us in your songs.

Anyone else wondering what the Chicago group is up to right now? The doors open in about 5 minutes. I bet they've all had a blast hanging out in line.

SO wish I was there....

i wish i was there too. best folks you'll ever meet. right now they are all no doubt all on the rail. Mikestune and Highway Bill are trying to behave as not to scare Steve. G1 is most likely trying to be in the same spot to flirt with Geoff. and RD is probably holding the Bud lady hostage so all of the GBers that want one, can get a cold one. i hope all that i did not meet last summer are all front row as well.
