just waiting for you to finish your editing TW, before I commented again

Greenbaum has a classic ..... Sherwood, def not a one hit wonder.
I think you are trying to say Bobby Sherman  ?????

I was just wondering, no 'WtF' warranted.

I love this topic.  John's voice will always be my fav - with such great God given tone and singing with such feeling.  Don Henley and Brad Delp are very close behind.  Currie and Block are lesser known but personal favorites of mine.  I love singers that can sell the song with the feeling in there voice, and these singers do it for me!

John Wetton
Don Henley
Brad Delp
Justin Currie (Del Amitri)
Ken Block (Sister Hazel)

Leave it my bro Ty to know a ruse when he sees it.  Maybe if I said England Dan, though I loved that stache.

Really, all in jest and on topic too! Me? A Wettonphile to be sure, through and through.

Obviously Sir Wetton is the first, but I do love Robert Smith of the Cure and Guy Chadwich from House of Love and Rob Dickinson from Catherine Wheel.  Please give them all a chance.  They are great in their own way.

Cracklepop - I usually go for the more techniquely sound voices, but i am with you on Robert Smith!  I know his voice is probably a nightmare to some, but something about his wacky voice intrigues me.  Maybe its those haunting melodies!  Can't put my finger on it.

First of all....duh...John Wetton, why else are we here!  Freddie Mercury , Justin Hayward , David Usher, Steven Page ( the last 2 ,of course are Canadian) the late Michael Hutchence & Dave Gahan. I think that every vocalist brings something unique to their songs, but the singer/song writer brings so much more to their creations, perhaps because they are closer to the song & the emotions of when it was penned.
