Johan,
Could you please shed a little light and tell me who Get What You Want is about?  Was this any reference to a former KC member?  I'm not trying to read more into than what is there, it's just that the knowing what inspired the song is kind of fun.

I like the whole Caught in the Crossfire album (or cd, or download for the younger crowd) and have always been curious about the meaning behind some of the songs.

I've got a fairly good idea about who the song is about, because we talked about this at the time, but I wouldn't dream of acting as the horse's mouth, because the lyrics on this song are by Peter Sinfield (it says on the credit),and he's the only one who can give you the real deal.

Thanks.  I thought maybe you collaborated on the lyrics.  As long as we are on Caught in the Crossfire.  Who are you trying to tell to get away in Get Away?

At the time,my girlfriend asked me the same question.
The answer to that one is in the Middle 8,or bridge--a pretty good bridge it is,too.

I haven't been on here in a while-glad to see you back John!!  I hope your recuperation is going smoothly-please take care of that precious heart of yours.

Cracklepop, here's a discussion from earlier about Paper Talk and Get What You Want. Boy, did I feel dumb when I found out Paper Talk wasn't about a woman.
