I was looking on Google Earth when I had an idea!!!
I could find something interesting from where I live and post it here.
Unfortunately I couldn't find anything interesting.
I have attached a photo of the Desperate Dan and Minnie the Minx statues.(The Beano and Dandy comics were both produced in Dundee) and there is also a photo of The Tay Rail Bridge (the second one- the first one fell down).
Like I say I couldn't find anything interesting on Google Earth, but I am sure other GBers could find something about where they live!!

Great idea!  Chicago has so much to choose from... this is the "Giant Bean" in Millenium Park

And of course, the skyline...

The original  Giant Bean statue was on the island of Lesbos in the Aegean Sea.

Is that why it looks more like a giant ovary.

Usually I hate to travel, but I would love to check out the Isle of Lesbos.

Isn't that the home of the Regina Steamer Carpet Cleaner?

I brought up Red Rocks in the "Why isn't Asia playing my town" whiny-fest.  Certainly the most beautiful concert venue I've been to.  It is just west of Denver in the foothills of the Rockies.
