Thanks everyone for the b'day wishes. It comes as some comfort to know I'm a sexagenarian.

Makisushi, Thanks for the list of "Happy Birthday" in 1500 languages.

I printed it and I am in the process of memorizing them.

You left out the "Reborn Christians."
Whatever the phrase is,I assume you must say it twice,
Or would that mean,You are actually saying ity 4 times?
Any "Born Agains" out there, please help me solve this dilemma.

i can get a Mormon on here who would say something about it if you want Boz.
however when i was a kid living in the great country that is Deutchland, i was told 'Alles Gute Zum Geburtstag'. i thought it was cool being told 'Happy Birthday' in another lingo.

Pete,I imagine a Mormon would just say "Happy Birthday" since everyone in Utah speaks English.

My Mormon question of the day,
When a Mormon trips and falls, then takes The Lord's name in vain, does he bellow, "Jesus Christ" or "Joseph Smith?"

Boz, had to mention, that if said Mormon is a woman of a certain age, she may bellow, "Donny Osmond!"  Heh.  Heh.

in almost 13 years of marriage, i think i can count one hand how many times Tonya has cursed out loud. i think 3 are when the girls were born,
i do remember when we lived in Ky a rat snake sneaked up on her and i did indeed hear her yell out 'Jesus Christ!'. so there is your answer Boz
BTW the Osmonds suck. my in laws agree. and i won't argue with them on that.

Happy belated birthday wishes, J - and many, many happy returns of the day.  BTW - I think the word you were looking for is "sexygenarian"!!!   May you receive as much joy today (and every day) as you have brought all of us.

Boz, Thanks.

Oh, excuse me. I forgot it. I believe Samsara, Transmigration.
