Ah yes. Myers really hit paydirt with that movie, didn't he? Too bad he didn't know when to quit.

Not sure if you've seen the Saturday Night Live skit where Myers (in full Scottish regalia) runs a store filled with all Scottish products. "If it's not Scottish, it's CRAP!"

My wife and I visited Edinburgh on vacation back in 1997. We took in England and Wales as well. My North American sensibilities were a bit upset to see Haggis being sold in a food court side-by-side with burgers and Chinese food.

I guess that brings up the old joke about the guy who didn't like cow's tongue because it came out of a cow's mouth, which he thought disgusting. But he had no problem with eggs!

Also see MM's movie, "So I Married an Axe Murderer." Myers' plays dual role as his own dad in a homage to his real father, a true Scot through and through.

I saw on the VH1 top 100 of the '80s countdown a few nights ago, that Myers' Austin Powers director married Susanna Hoffs from the Bangles.

I thought it was only us fans that watched those shows - hoping for a mention of Asia!

He also directed the Meet the Parents movies with DeNiro and Stiller. I think Mrs. Roach (guess she kept her given name and gave back her married one) was in the Ming Tea band Myers used for the AP movies along with Matthew Sweet as well.
