Yes, the old boy is there with scraper twixt legs,as usual. He really shines on the acoustic versions of both songs. He'll be with GD and myself for iCon in September.

Speaking of the acoustic songs, my version I picked up from best buy today did not include acoustic songs, slip cover or bonus materials.  Just wondering if those versions will be at the shows, or at least the Frontiers version.

Also Johan, you mentioned at some point that ICON may play an ELO song live.  Is there one that has been discussed or one that you would enjoy singing?

Very cool that Hugh appears on Phoenix!  I loved his ICON work and of course the work he did with ELO.  Crossing my fingers hoping ICON eventually gets to the US.

I also just purchased the Best Buy EMI version.  I received the Frontiers UK version yesterday through Amazon.  The Frontiers version has the extra packaging and fantastic acoustic version of "Extraordinary Life".  I also noticed that the EMI disc seems to be mixed "louder" if that makes sense.  (...but this one goes to 11)  The EMI disc front is black whereas the Frontiers disc front is silver.

I also plan to order the Japanese version so I can get the acoustic version of "I Will Remember You".  So, you can count me in for three towards the platinum sales target Johan!  See you in Chicago Sunday night!

I just checked with Nigel Tufnel who is working with Steve Rispin on a solo disc who confirms that Phoenix was mixed to "11" on a scale of 1 to 10.

Also, nice nod to Mike Stone in the liner notes. Very classy, sweet and appropriate for the man who helped define the sound we all love and was a good friend to JW over the years.

That's great that Hugh will make it along.  Can't wait for the Glasgow gig!
