What a great song. Some songs rely on the keys, or the guitar, to 'carry' the song. The vocal performance by itself would 'drive' the song. In other words, the song just wouldn't work if a less capable singer was singing the song. Just a thought...

Johan.  Are you a tenor or a baritone?  My money is on the latter.

Is there any Irish in your background?

....and are you speaking elfin?

It was very nice to have the opportunity to shake your hand in Vegas. I see the picture of you and Paul turned out nicely.

Speaking to a very enthusiastic ASIA fan on the blower the other night and they told me that I Will Remember You acoustic will surely turn on the waterworks.  I look forward to hearing it!

The best accoustic track I heard from you so far is Don't Cry and look forward to hearing I will Remember You. I'm sure Voice of America kicks butt, but I saw Asia in House of Blues so I understand why I didn't get to hear it.

You can catch a 45-second clip of the acoustic version here - and it's stunning!

MK, it is well worth the wait for the postman. The maxim a thing of beauty is a joy forever definitely applies to the IWRY acoustic. Because the vocals are more prominent, it is trancendent in parts, and this song just grabs hold and tugs at your heart. At least mine, anyway.

(VOA acoustic (live) makes me cry too, but I already blathered on about that in another thread.)
