WOW! Love the live concert played in Japan, especially, Video Killed the Radio Star, and The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, You guys rock.

As a former pro musician , now into writing and recording music, I really appreciate your music and the complexity and pure musicianship you have demonstrated for years. It is great to see you reunited and making music.

Any plans for US dates?

I hope Napster charged you for the download, cause there are alot of people who love free downloads, which to me is highway robbery and it's also an insult.

Napster has to pay artists and publishers to distribute music. The fact that the site might give the music away doesn't change that fact. So unless Napster has not paid for the music, they can give it away and no, it's not robbery, nor is it an insult.

On the other hand, it seems that the availability of the Fantasia cuts on Napster has raised at least one fan's awareness who wasn't previously plugged into this site. I also prefer the more traditional media vs. downloads, but think it would be foolish to not take advantage of Internet distribution to reach the largest possible audience.

JohnnyRazor - if you haven't already done so, search the archives in the guestbook here or visit the original ASIA website for tour info. Lots of news in recent months, but it's already been fully documented by others.

I thought Napster bought the farm after becoming a pay service?

Being in the tech field, bits be bits and bytes be bytes.  When I get back home I will rather own the DVD myself.  I have never noticed a dip in quality from a download to something on d CD/DVD.  That includes purchasing software or updates on the net.

For my two cents, the only time I ever used any of the "share" programs is when I couldn't find any place to purchase it.  That is how I initially got "Ride Easy".  When it came out on the compilation later I went and bought the CD.

I wonder how hard it would be to create a pay download site that specializes in songs and albums out of print or albums that were never officially released.  EX:  Prince's Black Album, GTR II, etc....

You would have to get access to a few record company vaults.
