To all...I just placed this on the "news" page and thought I'd add here:

July 17, 2008---Some very cool news today for John Wetton fans in the Far East. John's famous '65 Fender Jazz bass is headed to its new home at the Hard Rock Cafe in Yokohama, Japan.  This is the bass John has played since his days with King Crimson. No doubt fans will recognize it from the videos for UK's "Nothing to Lose" and Asia's "Heat of the Moment."  I hope you'll join me in congratulating John on this much-deserved rock honor.

It would be nice to know...but they have more visual appeal when functioning as pants, I think.

Congrats John!  A well-deserved honor!

Congratulations John.  Nice to hear that the guitar will be preserved and able to be viewed / appreciated by fans for many years to come.

Any chance that we'll be able to see some pictures of the display once it is enshrined?

Rut-ro...someone's running around Yokohama with Johan's pants on.  And I'm absolutely sure they're not doing them justice.

Goddess...I have to agree with you.  But, any display is better than no display at all.
