Had to say: I was just listening to the live version of 21st Century Schizoid Man from the King Crimson U.S.A album. That rip-roaring storm in the middle never fails to take the top of my head off. I can listen to it over and over with my mouth hanging open.
I mean, you guys really hit it right: the syncopation,  the overdriven bass tone, the interplay between the bass and drums and that huge, ungodly guitar tone that Bobby Fripp had, sounding as if he was bending his B string off the damned guitar neck. Wow!!

Listening to Uriah Heep's "Sunrise" as I'm writing this. They don't make 'em like they used to.

Is that the masculine way of saying you've lost your heart to it? I've never heard that phrase before!

Evelyn,

I see that you are from San Diego. So you are an American. From your response I was thinking that you had to be from Europe and unfamiliar with anything considered remotely colloquial in this country.

I cannot for the life of me understand how you can derive such an interpretation from something that—at least to me—could not have been expressed in simpler terms.

Maybe you'd have to be a musician to understand such an expression.

"Is that the masculine way of saying you've lost your heart to it?"

Huh?? If I had said, "It blew my mind" would that have made more sense?

If , by chance, there is anyone else out there who cannot understand what I meant please feel free to chime-in.
