Mmmmm...donuts.  I'm on my way to the stable, and there is a Dunkin' Donuts on the way home.  I just may have to stop there...Boston Creme are my faves - you get both custard and delicious chocolate frosting...mmmmm.  BTW...Hi April!!

Hey G!

No more donuts for me, I'm afraid.  The doc just wagged her finger at me yesterday for cholesterol that's a smidge high and those nasty triglycerides.  Happily, Omega-3 fish oil can cut the tri's in half if taken regularly.  I see salmon for dinner.  FYI, Trader Joe's has a lovely wild alaskan salmon -- top it with their peach salsa (fat-free, with just a bit of a kick) and bake it for 20 mins ... YUMMMMM.  Wish I could say the same for the fish oil capsules!

I love my gene pool -- dominated by heart disease and insanity

Alas, no lobster mashed potatoes anymore.

Indeed.  We are having Halloweenie dinner at Clyde's Tower Oaks, our fave restaurant around here.  Billed as 'casually elegant', it's in a lodge-type setting that is cozy but classy too.  They are having a lobster special this month, $18.95 for a 1.5-lb lobstah (for you Bostonians) with 2 luscious sides.  So you get mashed taters for your side and make your own.  Like I've said before, just give me a big tub full and let me dive in and roll around in them.

The two-lobstah dinner is only $28.95.  Do you triple-dog-dare me?  We did it last year.  The waitstaff was dressed in costumes, it was great festive fun.
