Ok this is an actual factual from a friend that works in the Embroidery District in NYC
who owns his own namesake Label..."Model Wear".
The colors of varying sports teams, which don't exactly match their original colors
such as Blue and Silver for Dallas Cowboys, take on the ominous Green or Pink for one reason only...GANGS.

The apparel is made in different colors so that gangs can purchase their favorite teams
and wear their "Turf Colors".
Anyone who lives in an Urban setting has seen a "Yankees" hat in Pink (Latin kings women) or in Red (Crypp). Even so much as making the said Jersey/Tee in Plaid..
It don't mean their Scottish.

You may not believe it, but its an actual factual.

Very conflicted in a lot of ways! And I'm sure the sports teams don't appreciate the mixed message advertising.

ME I would guess that they sell to these gangs because it a guarantee sale.. Gangs are very big .. t0o name a few.. Crips, Bloods, Vise Lords, MS13, Street Folk... the list goes on and on...imagine the number of guarantee sales the companies who make these hats, shirts, etc.. can profit!!
.. my .02

Thanks for the .02  Mike420, now I have a dollar! LOL! At least Official NFL shirts aren't made like that, are these shirts considered bootlegs? Isn't there a copyright law? I guess a private company can make anything they want, eh?

You'd be surprised
The companies sell the rights to make the "unofficial" colors.
Its all about the Benjamin's.
A company like "Nike" has rights to the official apparel, then another company makes it slightly different, with approval, by Nike.
These companies use slave labor including minors, Nike was guilty as charged at one point.
It's all Easy Money.

I know you aint no homophobe Johnny.

I wear pink alot,Pink Floyd that is.
And a few of them have rainbows.

By the way everytime I wear the ASIA XXV shirt to work and if this one dude comes in he always tells me how he loves my shirt.

He's gay by the way.
At least gay guys say something nice about my Asia shirts, cause the idiots I work with crack 40 Year Old Virgin jokes at me.

Maybe when I see Asia again next year I'll buy an extra shirt and give that guy one, cause apparently he needs to have one.

Pavel.
