To all...you may remember that both King Crimson and UK are among the bands to be inducted into the Progressive Rock Hall of Fame this year. The awards concert is set for June 29 in central New York. An exact venue has not yet been announced. All voting members of the PRHOF get in free.  According to organizers, "It costs $25 to be a voting member, which entitles you to the newsletter (4 times a year), 2 free concert tickets to the event and more.  People will need to become voting members before August 1 to place names in the nominee pool for the next group of awards, by June 15 to receive the 2 free concert tickets to this year's awards show."

Please keep in mind that PRHOF inductees are not required to attend.
If you want more information on the event or on membership, please visit http://www.progressiverockhalloffame.com.

Thanks for the info, Kim!  $25 sounds like a good deal!  Are any of you New Englanders going to attend?

Yeah, I have thought about that: New York, New Jersey, New Whatever...  when does it become old and do you change the name when it does?

$ 25.00 is very reasonable. i'll be on board.

and as far as the new england is concerned. it's a better choice than what it should've been called.... stolenlandville. wooopsie. my native blood is in a boil!

new england is made up of massachusetts, connecticuit, maine, vermont, rhode island and new hampshire. we are all represented by the new england patriots football team and route 91 goes thru most of them. that's it. lotta cheese, milk and trees.
