Not so good, John...
Now we have to win in Scotland to be sure we're in...
I saw the match yesterday and I can assure you that Italy is not in good health (despite the victory...).
Let's see what happens.

There will be a lot of support for Italia in Scotland---plenty of second and third generation Italians in Hivernia.

All is not lost with Derby.
I noticed that you have a large colony of Scots down there. Maybe they will get a lift from the tremendous result in midweek and turn it on for Derby. At least the manager might crack a smile.

Appropos of ABSOLUTELY nothin', if it's the Brazilian ladies' team playing, is there much less "fur flying?"

Brazil will win by a hair.  Or the Mohicans, perhaps.  Either way it'll be a close shave.

Both teams may be nicked up when its all over.  Watching the warm-ups could be interesting.

Hey, you have to give the Brazilian team credit. Taking Sasquatch's and teaching them to play footie is an admirable feat.

I hear their team sponsor is Nair.

The football result this afternoon in Shanghai that you've all been waiting for was Ger. Women 0--0 Eng. women, but point of interest was England player Rachel Yankey. I know some of these girls play for the other side, but in Ms.Yankey's case, hmmm----I wonder what her nickname is?
