It's with Anneke again, and it's absolutely stunning. If I say so myself.

Thank you John!
I love Anneke's voice...
I'll love this duet, as much as I love To Catch a Thief.

Has it been recorded 'together', this time? Or again separately?

It is the first piece we recorded, with orchestra, and choir. We have still never met.

orchestra and choir and your voices?
a big dreamy smile on my face....

it's amazing what technology can do...
you can record a piece, email the .wav file, get it remixed/adjusted/etc, have it on an album...all of this while being so many miles away...

Coincidence?  No, you don't believe in them, John, right?  But "To Catch a Thief" has been on repeat.  Oooo, can't wait for the new duet to do to the same.

Edit: Rendezous with Anneke.

So the coolest thing happened. On Fridays, music is played over the intercoms during passing periods and at one point, Video Killed the Radio Star played! to my surprise, other students were singing along. I instantly thought of Mr. Geoffrey Downes.

Can't wait to hear the new duet!  Curiosity definitely piqued.

Yesterday, I found out via my local newspaper that PRINCE is going to play a couple of dates in my area this Monday & Wednesday.  Sheesh, I never had a less-than-a-week notice of a huge gig before!  I'll try to see his Wednesday show, provided it is not sold out already.  "Let's Go Crazy"!!!

Hi all and a belated Happy New Year to all Guestbookers. New JW solo work on the way, more Asia dates in ’11 and US dates for UK. Really? Can things get much better being a JW fan? That superior work ethic we have come to love all these years makes a fan feel pretty lucky with a good year on the horizon. Things weren’t supposed to be this good thirty plus years on but so great that they are.

Now if we could just reduce the federal deficit, sneak Fergie into the royal nuptials because you know it won’t be the same without her and get Snooki with her Jersey Shore crew over to Italy and then revoke their passports, all shall be right in the world.

I do like "to Catch a Thief"...2 different voices, but the result is a very nice duet.

C'mon Joe, why do that to Italy, what have they ever done to us?

PS Welcome back.

Joe Kennedy, my man, always wonderful to see you here.  Yah man, UK (so cool) who would have thunk it(can you believe it Joe)? I know we have always shared the same appreciation for the Music of the God's.

I have decided my next purchase will be Icon II or KC's Red, which ever I find first, given the shrunken state of record shops these days.

In chocolate news: Waitrose (other supermarkets are available) has an offer of £2 for two bars of Green & Black's bars. It seemed rude not to take them up on their offer, so I left the shop with the best part of one kilogram of chocolate, including two bars of the dark chocolate with ginger.

'Raised in Captivity' sounds like it will be epic! Looking forward to it!  Wasn't this title the original name for Battle lines-Voice mail? i remember reading that back some 18 years ago.
