Boz, maybe it's a girl thing, but when I'm tired/wornout/knackered and something has made a shift in my world that day, one look into the mirror, a swift look at the clock to see how far past bedtime was, and 5 minutes later Ooopsey went the scissiors.  Hey, it grows back.  And thanks for the compliment ~ it was a compliment, wasn't it???

John, Hope your home safe and have a little time off (IF THAT'S POSSIBLE)
before the big tour. Get lots of REST. Enjoy your holiday time with Dylan I know it something you look forward to.

Fresh from 2 1/2 weeks in upstate NY filming "Bread and Savagery," an episode of "Star Trek Phase II" written by yours truly. Talk about geek heaven! Experience of a lifetime!

Good to be back to talk about Asia, and eagerly awaiting my CD via snailmail.

One of the Trek actors I worked with is a musician and provided the following meme that I thought you'd find amusing....

Life is,like, good, Merle---but I also suffer sometimes from book hangover.
With the 'E' bass solo, the banjo player's got what looks like a G7 going, so that's going to sound BAD.
On closer inspection, it looks like he's got an F happening (thumb hooligan grip forming the bass ' F', so it's really a stinker, or it's Malaguena at 15000 watts.

Or an em7 with a flat 9th when the two get put together. Either way  judging from the look of these guys the banjo player probably has the distortion cranked up to 11 which means it would sound quite ghastly with all those overtones fighting each other.

I just read that Andy Griffith died. That's one of those shows that was part of a lot of people's childhoods at some point. Haven't watched that in years, and never watched Matlock, but the man had an excellent career and was about as Americana as you can get.
