Hello John,  All this talk recently about David Gilmour reminds me that I thought I remember hearing something about him playing on or co-writing Talk to Me from your LP with Phil Manzanera.  Is this so?  I know the two have worked together live and in the studio on other Gilmour projects.  Thank you.
Respectfully,
Dennis

We co-wrote it. No playing from Dave,unfortunately---that would have been nice.
It was a bonus track, added later, but appears on most versions---buy it,then you can judge for yourself.

Unfortunately, that's a niet. We did 'Back in the USSR" at an MTV party (where John Young and Alan Ross were in the House band), but no videos.

Hello John,
Thank you kindly for your answer.  I bought the original LP and then I bought both CD versions when they were released.  Alan White signed the LP cover for me when he played at The Mason Jar in Phoenix while touring with The Chris Squire Experiment (Squire, Alan White, Billy Sherwood, Steve Porcaro, and Jimmy Haun) August 1992.  Talk to Me is one of my favorite songs from this CD.  Your bass seems more prominent on this track than some of the others and a cool pick up note with great tone before the 4 on the beginning.  Of course, as you know, Suzanne is another favorite of ours from this CD.  Suzanne is also Edie's favorite of all your compositions.  To her, it is tied with Love Now 'Til Eternity which we borrowed for our wedding!  Thanks again for your reply.
Respectfully,
Dennis

All tracks are great! I was listening to Wetton/Manzanera album all summer! (Yeah, for the first time... you may laugh, but I was 9 when it was released) "It's Just Love" blows me away from the very first sound. "Keep On Loving Yourself" is like a highway to shiny day... "Suzanne" is one of the best ballads ever, as long as the soft fascinating "Have You Seen Her Tonight". But I guess my favourite is still "Every Trick In The Book" because I know the feeling that song is about and it's just like an explosion!!!

it is a great album - anyone reading who doesn't own it should get one.
