seems to be no takers from the GB for the Tower Theater. But just in case, we'll be sitting in balcony row-D, seems to be right on the center aisle. Should give my Tim a good view!

Brianos, I'm very upset with Sole! I hope he is okay. Found out today he deleted the AsiaFanClub.com! Sorry about any link that no longer works.
Great job on your downloaded version of "Wildest Dreams"! You did a fine
portamento job with Steve Howe licks! Hope to hear from you soon!

Great show tonight - as to be expected! Took a wrong turn off rte-1 (not the side of Philly I'm familiar with), but still early enough for Tim & I to take in a cheesesteak & burger at the little tavern across the street from the Tower Theater. Big group of YesFans at the tavern, plus one guy with a homemade ASIA hat and a gal who liked my Phoenix shirt. Met briefly with Wetton82 in the lobby just before showtime.

Asia rocked our world tonight! The sound was perfect - every instrument clear & balanced. The band is really tight, not just while playing but also keeping the pace moving between songs. The overall effect is a powerful statement - these guys know how to put on a show! I've been lucky enough to see ASIA 4 years in a row now, and each time around they get better & better. I was very pleased with the great reception Asia received from the audience!!

We were treated to a guest flautist during ITCOTKC - nice fills in the 2nd verse, then an extended solo with nice bass counterpoint. Johan, couldn't catch his name when you announced him... looked like the MC from School of Rock all-stars...?

Johan's voice sounds stronger than ever & he was quite dexterous on bass - loved the moving bass in the Fanfare jam & Sole Survivor!! Carl & Geoff are still quite the showmen, and I have to agree with Chris Squire's comment that since James Brown is no longer with us, Steve Howe is now the hardest working man in show business.

Couldn't have been more than 20 minutes between Asia leaving the stage & Yes queuing up the Firebird Suite. They sound a bit more polished than when I saw them last Nov. Great selection of songs, quite similar to last fall's setlist. We left during Roundabout - Tim was getting tired & he has a big day tomorrow with his grandparents, so we ducked out before 69th street became a parking lot. Tim thanked me several times on the way home for bringing him... what more could a dad ask for!

Time to rest up for tomorrow's show!

The flautist was Ian McDonald, the composer of 'In the Court of the Crimson King'. I'll say it louder tonight.

Great show tonight!  But the area outside of the theater was not good!  Have to bring my Glock next time and my Kevlar!  Wonderful surprise with Ian onstage with the flute.  It really added to the impact of the song.  Simply brilliant!   See you in NJ on the morrow!
