I'm gettin' psyched for this show tonight! It should be a doozy! I will post a review afterwards. Hope others will too!

Ohhhh, heck yeah, the entire show was a major a** doozy alright, from beginning to end.

I lucked out and got a 2nd row, center seat for the soundcheck and show. The first row was reserved for Eddie's Zealots. When we got in, Terry was doing checks on his drums, Eddie was being a great host to all of us in the front, and our John was a few rows back with a friend, checking things out. I got Eddie & John's signatures on my "Danger Money" cd. It was good to check in with John again, and what a delight, he was wearing the legendary green plaid shorts!!! When all three guys finally were up on stage, I was smiling big when I got to feast my eyes & ears on the fab Il Gato. A song bit they played was "Night After Night". Everyone in the audience was blown away by that--no surprise there! Soundcheck was also the best time to take pictures of the guys in action. Luved Eddie's violin!

The show itself went well beyond my expectations--it was truly BEAUTIFUL & INTENSE! John's vocals were beautiful, and the musicianship of John, Eddie & Terry was intense, individually and as a unit. There were standing o's after every song played. Great setlist, but my very, very, very favorite standouts were "Rendevous 6:02", "Night After Night", and "Carrying No Cross".

So thank you, JOHN, EDDIE & TERRY, for totally blowing my-- ahem-- audio senses last night.

ROA, Thanks for placing me at the concert!    Double treat - the plaid shorts.

I've seen a show at El Rey, cool venue and absolutely loving the footage I've seen, John's vocal range = stunning hearing these songs live and for having been under the weather, a true professional going out and singing his heart out and playing that bass so amazingly . I loved how Joolzy described Bozzio's drumming to dancing at the Seattle show, it is like that when he gets in his groove, he's got such great style and what a gifted drummer, you can tell he loves what he does!
