JK,

I agree, I hope Johan takes his time, too. Surely he's got the best docs working with him, so perhaps they have given their blessings on the tour.  It does seem v.soon, but medicine is so amazing these days....

J., yes, that'll be the last time I call you Surely.  Old joke, sorry.

I know we're just talkin' amongst ourselves and no one knows better than the big guy himself, but I did not expect to see them out and about until late 2008 at best due to John's recent surgery. John has got to be as strong as an ox and my hats off to him. I know he has oft mentioned his strong work ethic as evidenced throughout his career and have always admired him for this.

As far as the joke, Airplane references never get old. If not for that movie, my kids would have no clue about Kareem Abdul Jabar, Peter Graves and Leslie Neilsen.

Went to the UT campus last night for Zappa plays Zappa very Hippie crowd but great to see a son honoring his father with such an updated rendition of what it must have been like to see the mothers of invention back in the day. Place was packed though it only held 500. I'd love to see some type of accurate documentary on Frank as his untimely death only helped to silence what was already wrong with the record companies as he was never known to voice his opinion.

Just to add to my original post ... Not only is April 8 my birthday, but it's a big 'un.  One that ends in 0.  Anyone guessing correctly gets bitch-slapped .

OMG! April 8th is my birthday, too!  I'm also turning a number that ends in 0. Oh we MUST share the limelight at the concert! (shhhhh, don't get upset about 40. I'm told it's the new 20).

Of course it was a young person who told me that.
LOL over the bitchslap!

Claire.

April,

The big 4-0 arrives for me on March 20, and I have to agree with Claire that 40 is the new 20- unfortunately 20 is the new 10

I thought 60 was the new 10. I'm retrogressing nicely--immaturing----should be done in a couple more years. No--- 60 is the new 40, so my friend Mick Box tells me.

My dad has always told me that he didn't really begin living until he was 40, and I'm beginning to think he was right all along!

JO,

I have to agree with your Dad. I liked my 30's, LOVE my 40's.  Johan, does that mean your voice will be changing soon?
