..some great music suggestions being posted here...Johan- good to hear you like def Lepard as they were a fave of mine in my younger days. I remember hearing Photograph from Pyromania for the very first time and thinking "oh my god..this is an incredible.." similar to when I first heard Heat of the moment..!

Anyway, I decided to dig out my old vinyl records and take a trip down memory lane..anyone remember It Bites? There songs still sound amazing today..Kiss like Judas,You'll never go to heaven..

There's an ASIA connection with It Bites....if memory serves their guitarist Francis Dunnery did a solo on a studio track called "Karrie Anne" from the Mockba CD.

Hey dixie, I love It Bites.
Another obvious IB-JW connection is the CTD CD, which features 2 more members of that band. JW must like them too or the England is very little.

I always liked them--great players, great material, nice 'tude, stellar blokes. It must be no coincidence that JM is involved now. One tour of festivals in Germany in 1989 was It Bites opening, ASIA, then The Beach Boys. Now,THAT's a package! They were a great hope for BritProg in the mid-80s,and,unlike the great unwashed of that genre, had a real chance to carve their niche in the big time. Listen to 'Underneath Your Pillow'---it's world-class,highly recommended.

I completely agree...
another classic is "You'll never go to heaven", a song with one of the best guitar solos ever!
